FAQs

Are women’s golf shoes different from men’s?

Yes, they are different, so they’re not to be considered as simply smaller versions of men’s shoes. This has to do with the fact that women’s foot anatomy is quite different from that of men’s feet; from the narrower ball and heel to the higher instep and ankle bones, there are plenty of details to pay attention to.
All this together makes women’s golf shoes different from men’s. For one, they have a different shape and fit, made to conform to the anatomical shape of women, with the wider forefoot, narrower heel, softer midsoles, and light material elements. Even the sizing differs from that of men’s, so always look for adequate women’s shoes in the right size to ensure the proper fit and comfort for optimal performance on the course.
When shopping, keep in mind that although most models from the top brands like Adidas, Nike, FootJoy, Ecco, Descente are true to size in terms of fit, always try the shoes on when you can before shopping. Or you can seek professional fitting to make the most of both fit and stability. And, don’t forget to measure to know the exact foot size of both feet, which is useful especially when shopping online.
